This year we are beginning the process of strengthening our alumni/active connections by forming a better communication system and hopefully starting a new tradition in the form of an annual all Beta Chapter Alumni weekend in which all alumni and their families can come out and socialize.

We invite you to come out on May 31th as we hold a brotherhood event which will be a Family Beerfest. Represent your family once again and compete in games such as beer pong and flip cup to prove which family is the best in IV sports!

The current family lines right now are DC, Jabroni, Fhakka, Tilt, Boss Line (formerly Line Formerly Known As Leader Line) and Almighty Alcoholics.

Even if your line is no longer alive come out to represent and tell your history!

We would also like to invite you all out on May 30th for our annual End of the Year Banquet which will be held at the Hotel Mar Monte in Santa Barbara to formally celebrate the crossing of our newest classes, Psi and Alpha Alpha. Dinner will be served at 7pm and the price will be $50 for singles, $100 a couple. If you are interested in reserving a spot please email/message/call me. As always there will be an open time after dinner in which you may attend for free to congratulate the new classes.

There will also be a celebration kickback after the banquet at the house! That makes a total of three different events that will take place in over the course of the weekend so please try to make it out! We will also be taking this day to progress in our planning of the annual Alumni weekend mentioned above. We hope to have a test/run through weekend this summer on the weekend of July 24-26 and the biggest one in two years for Zeta Phi Rho, Beta Chapter's 15th Anniversary.

As I am currently limited to Facebook communication for now, please let all your pledge brothers and other alumni you may be in contact with know about this date and invite them to come out! I will hopefully arrange to have everyone called but this is the official event page for now.

"please help spread the word to every Beta Chapter Zeta member out there. the first reunion in May will just be for planing only and hanging out like the last one we had in 06. July event is a dry run through. The Big event we are shooting for is in 2 years, when we celebrate our 15.

I think 2 years is plenty of time to get everyone on board! That is going to be the convention."

Please come out and support Alpha Alpha Associate class this wednesday. We will have performances, dancing, tons of food, and music all night. We will also be auctioning off members of Zeta Phi Rho to do your bidding if you win them. COME OUT AND SUPPORT HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!!!!!

Please join the gentleman of Zeta Phi Rho this Thursday from 4-close at the delicious and delectable Gina's Pizza to help raise funds for our outreach philanthropy program S.M.A.R.T. (Students Making Academics a Reality Today).

Basically we bring students from Bakersfield, California to U.C.S.B. to try to show them that college is an option and should be an option for every graduating senior coming out of high school.

No flyers necessary to be given at the register, just come have fun and eat some pizza with your favorite Zeta!!!

What is S.M.A.R.T.?

Students Making Academics A Reality Today (S.M.A.R.T.) is an outreach program that both Lambda Theta Alpha and Zeta Phi Rho have put together. This program gives students from the Bakersfield area the opportunity to come to UCSB and experience college life through academic workshops, activities, and dorm life. Our goal is to motivate students to seek a higher education. This will be our 3rd annual S.M.A.R.T.
